The Expert In International Tribunal For The Law Of The Sea

The International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea, as a universal judicial institution, was established by the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. This institution is a new judicial authority that is specialized for the law of the sea. The term of expert which origin is very ancient, is frequently used in legal proceedings in International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea because of law of the sea is a branch of law that requires technical knowledge. In parallel with the technological and economic developments experienced all over the world, the use of marine and marine resources by the states and the facilitation of all kinds of maritime operations and maritime trade issues have also reached the level of international relations over time. Today, the seas and oceans are used not only for transportation but also for commercial and economic purposes. International Law of the Sea rules have been started to be implemented with the adaptation of the states to international rules as a result of bilateral agreements, alliances, conferences and conventions over time.
