Abstract

TÜRK DEVLETLERİ TEŞKİLATINA ÜYE ÜLKELER ARASINDA İKİLİ İLİŞKİLER

origin, civilization, language, and religion emerged on the stage of history. The strategy to be followed by these states in establishing bilateral relations among themselves and with Turkey has been a matter of curiosity. The "Summit of Heads of State of Turkic Speaking Countries", which started in 1992 after their independence and was hosted by Ankara, was institutionalized over time and reached the level of the "Turkic Council" in 2009. The Council was transformed into the “Organization of Turkic States” in 2021. Traditional foundations such as common ethnicity, language, religion, history, and civilization play an important role in the relations between the Turkic States. The goal of these relations is to build a common future based on strategic cooperation, mutual benefit, prosperity, and stability. The Turkic States have the potential for significant economic cooperation among themselves and with third countries due to their rich energy resources and strategic location between Asia and Europe. A multilateral cooperation among the Turkic States will lead to the equitable sharing of the riches of the Eurasian region and ensure peace and stability in the region.
