Abstract


KOVİD-19 PANDEMİ SÜRECİNİN TÜRK BANKACILIK SEKTÖRÜNE ETKİSİ: AKTİF BÜYÜKLÜKTE İLK YEDİ BANKANIN 2019 – 2021 DÖNEMİ CAMELS PERFORMANS MODELİNE GÖRE ANALİZİ

In addition to many models used in measurements of performances of bank, The CAMELS performance analysis method that has been begun to implemented in USA, has been utilized in many studies in testing of the financial status of Banks. The aim of the study is to define the performances of the first seven banks by assets size in Turkish Banking Sector during the period of 2019-2021 with regard to CAMELS performance assessment model. The performance improvements of three state-owned and four private sector banks in top seven banks by asset size have been examined. The situation created by COVID-19 pandemic, which came into sight globally in 2019 and showed its effect severely in 2020, over top seven banks in Turkish Banking Sector has been determined.
