Education is the cornerstone of society and plays a critical role in the development of a society. The quality of a country's education system is an important indicator of its level of social, economic and cultural development. A society with a strong education system generally tends to raise better equipped, conscious and productive individuals. Education not only provides individuals with the knowledge, skills and values they need throughout their lives, but also contributes to social cohesion and solidarity. A good education system provides equal opportunities to all segments of society and helps to ensure social justice. Regardless of any political regime, the importance attached to education is a fundamental factor in the development of a society. Education contributes to the spread of democratic values and human rights, the promotion of scientific and technological progress and the preservation of cultural diversity. However, in recent years, education systems have been facing a certain slowdown and challenges. Factors such as globalization, technological advances and economic changes are important dynamics affecting education systems. Reforms are also needed in areas such as financing, management and content of education systems. Education has always been an important element of social development and remains so today. Education is a fundamental force shaping the future of societies and therefore investments and improvements in education systems should be a priority. On August 31, 1991, after officially declaring independence, Kyrgyzstan began to reshape its education policies in the process of building its national identity. In this period, the role of the higher education system in the international educational process and trends in the formation of educational potential become an important issue. However, many problems arise in this process. This article discusses important developments in the process of internationalization of the higher education system of Kyrgyzstan and the problems encountered. It also examines the features of the international education process and its impact on the level of accessibility of education in the country's universities. Three main trends related to the internationalization of the higher education system in Kyrgyzstan have been identified. These are the harmonization of the educational potential with international standards, identification of expectations in the internationalization process and formulation of recommendations for eliminating existing shortcomings. In this study, the challenges and achievements in the internationalization process of Kyrgyzstan's higher education system are discussed in detail. It also examines the impact of the internationalization process on the educational potential and future directions. The research problem in the context of this study refers to the successes and difficulties encountered in the process of internationalization of the higher education system in Kyrgyzstan. This includes issues related to aligning educational potential with international standards, setting expectations in the internationalization process, and formulating recommendations to eliminate existing deficiencies. The research problem also includes examining the impact of the internationalization process on the accessibility of education at universities in Kyrgyzstan. The place and impact of higher education in the all-round development of Kyrgyzstan is given. Possible Problem Statement of the Article, Challenges in Higher Education System: The article may address challenges faced by the higher education system in Kyrgyzstan post-independence, such as low interest in vocational education and insufficient employment opportunities in vocational fields. Modernization Efforts in Education: It could discuss the efforts to modernize the education system in line with international standards and the struggle to implement changes effectively. Financial Constraints: Another potential issue could be the financial constraints affecting the education sector, leading to low teacher salaries, inadequate educational resources, and the negative impact on motivation and education quality.
