The Turks, who have existed for thousands of years in India, which has the largest surface area of the Asian continent after China and the most complex social structure in the world, did not hesitate to apply the Turkish state tradition in these lands they ruled, as in other regions. Therefore, the last Turkish state in this geography, the Mughals (1526-1858), which ruled in India for a long period of 332 years, laid the foundations of many systems that today's modern Indian state still applies. In this context, the sixth sultan of the Mughals, Âlemgîr Awrangzîb, during his half-century reign, enabled him to reach the widest borders of the country, to serve the state faithfully regardless of religion and nationality, and to ensure that the citizens lived in prosperity and peace with the policy he followed in the state administration. In this study, which is revealed by examining the letters belonging to Awrangzib, the sources of the period and current research; Information was given about how the state policy implemented in the period of Alemgîr Awrangzib manifested in India, and it was also aimed to contribute to the scientific studies to be made in the field of Indian Turkish history.
